at Midway
Lodging at Midway is provided
in the historic Bravo and Charlie Bachelor Officer Quarters, originally constructed in the
1950s. The rooms were completely updated and renovated in 1996 and now offer attractive
decor and modern, comfortable furnishings.
All rooms include:
- air conditioning and heating
- satellite television with HBO
- daily maid service
Each building offers a public
lounge area with a television, refrigerator, and fresh brewed coffee made available for
guests each morning free of charge. Laundry facilities are available in both buildings.
There is no charge for the use of these washers and dryers, but guests must provide their
own detergent which is available for purchase in the Ships Store. |

Rooms
at Midway are available in four categories:
ROOM WITH SHARED BATH: includes a full size bed, vanity and sink area,
television, heating/air conditioning. The bathroom (toilet and shower) are shared with an
adjoining room. Doors to and from the bathroom can be locked to ensure full privacy for
both parties. 2002 rate: $62.50/person per night, double occupancy, $125 single.

- ROOM WITH PRIVATE BATH: includes a queen or two twin beds, vanity and sink
area, television, heating/air conditioning, and a private bathroom. (Quantity of rooms are
limited in this category). 2002 rate: $82.50/person per night, double occupancy, $165
single.

- SUITE WITH PRIVATE BATH: two room suite consisting of a bedroom and separate
living room/sitting area, includes a queen or two twin beds, vanity and sink area,
television, mini bar with refrigerator, heating/air conditioning, and a private bathroom.
2002 rate: $107.50/person per night, double occupancy, $215 single.

- VIP THREE ROOM SUITE: large three room suite, including a king size bed,
vanity and sink area, television, mini bar with refrigerator, heating/air conditioning,
and a private bathroom. 2002 rate: $300 per night,
single occupancy or $150/person per night double occupancy.

| Dining at Midway Midway
offers a variety of dining options from cafeteria style to fine dining with a French
flair:
- THE GALLEY CAFETERIA
is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving a wide variety of foods to suit
every taste. Local residents and employees often dine at the Galley, so it's
a great place to mix and meet the people of Midway, while enjoying a casual and hearty
meal. Breakfast: $8, Lunch: $10, Dinner: $12

- THE CLIPPER HOUSE offers a fine dining experience (although dress is still casual as
it is everywhere at Midway) in a spectacular beach front setting. Serving a variety of
cuisine from Pacific Rim to French, the restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner five
days a week. Excellent food and fabulous sunsets! Breakfast: $10, Dinner: $35.

- THE CAPTAIN BROOKS is also located on the beach,adjacent to the Clipper House,
offering breathtaking views from inside or outside on the open-air lanai. The
Captain Brooks is open for drinks and star-gazing every evening.

- THE ALL HANDS CLUB is a local gathering place serving simple, casual food (like the
famous Midway Burrito, hot dogs and hamburgers) nightly in a historic military bar
setting. The All Hands Club is the local pub, but visitors are always
welcome to drop in. Billiards, pool, shuffleboard, darts and other games are available to
all. Local talent occasionally entertains.

- THE SHIP'S STORE offers a limited selection of dry goods, beverages, snacks and
toiletries. As selection is limited, it is highly recommended that guests bring any
toiletries, medications, etc. that may be needed. The GIFT
SHOP adjacent to the Ship's Store offers T-shirts, jackets, postcards,
Midway books and other Midway gift items.
